BOOK_50 - How to Meet the People You Want to Meet
The pressure is on to meet people, right? Wrong! In How to Meet the People You Want to Meet, the emphasis is on how to do what's fun for you and how that will naturally help you meet more of the people you want to meet. Singles will learn how to:
• zero in on their favorite things to do, then translate those interests into a personal action plan of activities that will help them meet the people they want to meet
• clearly define who it is they want to meet
• keep from getting discouraged while finding that perfect match of interests and ambitions
• "grow their own fun" instead of waiting for it to come to them-with five ideas that are just crazy enough to work!
Included is a list of rapport makers, ideas for graceful exits and extending or declining invitations, and other ways to turn awkward situations into comfortable ones.
How to Meet the People Y ou Want to Meet shows singles how to stop letting everyone else set standards for what to do when meeting people, and set themselves free to remember what's truly fun for them!
Authors Steve Bhaerman and Don McMillan are Ann Arbor, Michigan, singles who got tired of the disappointments of the dating game and decided to write their own rules. Bhaerman is a writer and humorist who met his fiancee as a direct result of writing this book (and practicing what it preaches!). McMillan holds a master's degree in social work and has served as a family therapist and now as a management consultant.
