gong7 - Small Cymbals

Small Cymbals 6 inches in diameter. Small Cymbals are similar in shape to the cymbals used in Tibetan ritual. These instruments have the turned up lip which gives a very unusual sound when their rims are rocked together. Different sounds can be achieved by striking and rubbing the cymbals together in various ways. In this sense they are much more versatile than western orchestral cymbals.
